The Tokaj Harvest Days are one of the oldest vintage events in our country, since they have been celebrated since 1932, so this year the event is 90 years old. The organizers are waiting for those interested in the three-day holiday between September 30 and October 2 at Kossuth Square under the theme of "White wines, colorful culture".
For centuries, Tokaj’s wine has played a decisive role in the development of our national identity, so the purpose of the event is to nurture this cultural tradition and to present the diverse community values of the world heritage area in one of Hungary's most popular tourist regions, the city named after the Tokaj Aszú, Tokaj.
Tokaj legnagyobb múltú rendezvényére, a Tokaj-hegyaljai Szüreti Napokra ebben az évben is sokan voltak kíváncsiak. Mintegy tízezer vendég fordult meg - a kiadott karszalagok alapján - a központi (idei új) helyszínen a Tokaj Fesztiválkatlanban, október 1 és 3-a között.
A ’katlanba az érvényben lévő járványügyi szabályok szerint csak védettségi igazolvánnyal lehetett belépni, a szokásos sétáló utcán található vásári forgatag pedig a rendezvényhelyszín parkolójában kapott helyett, hisz a főteret időközben munkaterületté nyilvánították a közelgő városfejlesztések kapcsán (e két nyomós ok miatt lett indokolt az új, átmeneti helyszín!).

The Tokaj-Hegyalja Harvest Days is one of the oldest harvest events in Hungary, so it is also one of the most important events in the capital of the Tokaj World Heritage wine region, which will be held in a new location in 2021. This year, the Fesztiválkatlan and its immediate surroundings will be the base of the three-day harvest event, but in many parts of the city, light music concerts, wine and gastronomic hustle and bustle and plenty of exciting programs await those interested in the spirit of „White wines, colorful culture“.
Slightly different from tradition, but this year one of the biggest autumn events in the wine region was held. The Tokaj-Hegyalja Harvest Days this year attracted many visitors to the city from 1 to 4 October.
